When I think back to where Wisconsin was in 2018 before Tony and the entire slate of statewide Democratic officials were elected — including me! — I can't help but feel inspired by how far we've come and how much we've accomplished together.

After years of Scott Walker, total Republican control in the Capitol, and deep division, Democrats rolled up our sleeves and got to work. We flipped key statewide offices and started building a future that puts people first.

And wow, have we delivered!

✅ Fought for public schools — restored respect for educators and increased resources for students across Wisconsin
✅ Protected natural resources — advanced clean water initiatives, fought PFAS contamination, and safeguarded Wisconsin's public lands.
✅ Strengthened the economy — delivered record-low unemployment and invested in the jobs of the future, from manufacturing to clean energy
✅ Supported working families — lowered the cost of child care and put more money back in the pockets of middle-class Wisconsinites.

As State Treasurer, I led a $1.4 billion trust fund that delivered hundreds of millions to public schools, launched new programs to help families buy a home, published a taxpayer transparency report, and worked to protect retirement security. Now, as Secretary of State, I'm holding the government accountable, modernizing the office for the 21st century, and making public records and services easier for Wisconsinites to access.

We've made real progress, but there's still so much more to do.

I'm taking a hard look at how I can best serve Wisconsin going forward, and I'm so grateful to know you're in this fight with me. Together, we can keep moving our state forward.
