John — Since
Donald Trump re-entered the White House, millions have joined protests in
cities all over the country, more than 10,000 people from all 50 states
have participated in our Resistance Lab trainings, and his poll numbers
have cratered.
It’s safe to say Trump and his MAGA allies in Congress are panicking about
the midterms right now. It’s why they’re trying to rig the rules by
gerrymandering five more Republican seats in Texas.
But Democrats in Texas aren’t giving up without a fight. They just made
one of their boldest moves yet by leaving the state to deny the state
House the quorum it needs to pass redistricting legislation:

These Democrats know what it means to fight fire with fire and stand up
for our democracy — and we need to have their backs. Coordinating an
effort like this takes a considerable amount of resources, without which
they could be forced to return home.
We need to make sure Texas House Democrats have the support they need to
continue denying a quorum for as long as it takes. [ [link removed] ]That’s why we’re
