As much as some politicians want to ignore it, we are living through an unprecedented public health crisis, and many families in North Carolina and across the country are wondering what comes next.

One day, our kids will ask us about this moment. They’ll ask us how we united to uplift each other. They’ll ask us if we worked to protect our communities and keep the most vulnerable among us safe. They’ll ask what we did to come out of it all stronger.

That’s why I want this campaign to reflect the best of our communities — one where we come together to fight for a better future. To put North Carolina families ahead of the wealthy players in Washington. To put power where it belongs — in the hands of the people.

And I want to say we did it the right way, without taking a single contribution from corporate PACs. Just folks like you chipping in what they can for a movement we all believe in, as we work together to bring real change to Washington.

But we’ll need to build a different kind of campaign to do it. So, I’m personally asking if you’ll add a contribution of any amount before our FEC deadline to help us deliver the strong leadership we need:

For too long, North Carolina has put up with a weak and ineffective Senator in Thom Tillis. Time and again, he sides with the agenda of his party and his corporate backers over the people he was elected to serve.

Now more than ever, we deserve bold, independent leadership that will prioritize the health and safety of all North Carolinians. I’m running for U.S. Senate to do just that.

One day, our kids will ask us about this moment. Let’s make sure we make them proud when that day comes.
