We want to let everyone know that after honest conversations and prayer, Pastor Pete Wilson has decided to step down from his formal leadership role at Founded in Truth Fellowship. 

Recently, Pete and his family have shared publicly about a journey that has included new experiences, perspectives, and practices. Some of these do not fully align with the standards and values FIT asks of its leaders. After careful and prayerful discussion, Pete and I mutually agreed that stepping down from leadership is the most appropriate path. This decision was not made lightly, but with consideration for the responsibility of leadership and the importance of clarity for our fellowship community.

Pete has served our community as Pastor over Education and dedicated youth leader, investing his heart and years of service in building up our community, specifically reaching those on the margins. Pete’s willingness to show up for people with compassion, honesty, and real care has helped shape who we are as a fellowship.

We ask everyone in our community to offer support, respect, and understanding to Pete, Ashleigh, and their family during this time of transition.
