I know that there’s been a lot going on in DC impacting you and your family. President Trump recently signed into law a $1 trillion cut to Medicaid and stole food assistance from Americans while giving more tax breaks to billionaires. The consequences of the Big, Ugly Law are far-reaching, and I’m here to answer your questions, including what House Democrats and I are doing to protect you.
I’m hosting another in-person town hall on August 11 at 6:30 p.m. in Hyde Park, Chicago. Joining me will be Ed Yohnka, Director of Communications and Public Policy at ACLU Illinois to answer legal questions you may have about the constitutionality of President Trump’s recent actions.
