Our government — and our state budget — should stand in solidarity with them.
Friend,
Every year in Pennsylvania, over 20,000 survivors rely on rape crisis centers for 24/7 support — services that help them heal and rebuild.
But right now, those lifeline programs are on the brink of collapse. State funding for these centers hasn’t budged since 2021. No increase. No adjustment for inflation. Just flat funding.
This isn’t right. That’s why I’ve been demanding an $8 million increase to support these critical services.
When budgets remain stagnant, programs and staff get cut, and survivors face delays in accessing resources. Survivors deserve better, and our government — and our state budget — should stand in solidarity with them.
