In 2024, I won one of the most competitive congressional races in the country by just 3.6%. It was a tough, expensive fight in a district President Trump carried by over 19,000 votes.

That margin—3.6%—represents thousands of people who voted across party lines because they wanted a Congressman who would work with anyone to get things done.

And I’ve honored that trust every day. Because while I’m willing to work with anyone to get things done for Long Island and Queens, I’ll never abandon my values.

Now, the far-right has made me a top target again. They’re preparing to spend millions to flip this seat—and it could all come down to a few thousand votes. And even over a year before the election, the negative ads are already rolling.
