Email from Defend Our Courts This situation is rapidly spiraling out of control.   John,  Yesterday Texas voted to issue arrest warrants for the Democratic lawmakers who fled to Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York, to ensure that the Texas legislature would not have a quorum to pass MAGA's gerrymandered congressional map. Now, Texas lawmakers have formally requested that the FBI arrest the Texas Dem lawmakers who are in hiding. If the TX map passes and the Democratic seats are gerrymandered out, California Gov. Newsom has pledged that California will respond with a gerrymandered map of their own that will favor Dems. This situation is rapidly spiraling out of control and while the Texas and now California gerrymandering battles are getting all the press attention MAGA has quietly opened up another front in this rapidly escalating fight: Pennsylvania. MAGA wants GOP-favoring congressional maps in Pennsylvania and to ensure this, they have launched a massive operation to remove the Democratic majority on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the only thing standing in their way, via an obscure statewide November 2025 judicial retention election. Even if Democrats counteract our lost seats in Texas with new dem seats in California, if we lose Pennsylvania's Democratic house seats, it is going to be nearly impossible for Democrats to ever hold the House again.
