John,
Chris Murphy recently unveiled one of the most outrageous anti-gun schemes in history: A jaw-dropping $4,709 tax on every NFA transaction. This is a direct assault on your Second Amendment rights—because if the anti-gunners can’t ban your guns, they’ll just TAX them out of existence!
Sadly, this isn’t new. For decades, anti-gun politicians have tried to weaponize taxes to destroy the Second Amendment:
❌ 1993: Sen. Moynihan—10,000% tax on hollow point ammo
❌ 2015: Rep. Davis—20% tax on guns, 50% on ammo
❌ 2019: Sen. Warren—30% tax on guns, 50% on ammo
❌ 2020: Biden’s $200 “assault weapon” tax
❌ 2021: Rep. Hank Johnson—20% tax on guns, 50% on ammo
❌ 2022: Rep. Beyer—1,000% tax on semiautos & magazines
❌ 2025: Murphy proposed a $4,709 tax on each NFA item.
Thanks to your help, GOA was able to defeat this anti-gun amendment, but don’t be fooled, John. The gun control zealots will try again unless we repeal the tax and registration requirements found in the NFA.
We must demand that Senate Majority Leader John Thune fire anti-gun Senate parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough for killing our efforts to eliminate the NFA’s registration requirements for short-barreled firearms and suppressors during the reconciliation process.
Send a letter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, demanding that he fire the Senate parliamentarian.
John, with your help, we can ensure Congress doesn't price Americans out of exercising their God-given right to keep and bear arms.
