The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed repealing two of our most effective clean air standards: the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Standards for Fossil Fuel-Fired Electric Generating Units and the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS).
This is not just an environmental issue; it's a business issue. Repealing these standards would have significant negative consequences for our economy, our workforce, and your bottom line.
ASBN has drafted a comment incorporating input from members who attended our Climate & Energy Policy Brief, and we are now calling on all community members to use this language to submit their own comments directly to the EPA before the August 7th deadline. We’ve received 36 GHG and 19 for MATS for 55 total sign-ons to date. Our goal is to reach 80. Can we count you in?
