Tomorrow is Americares 46th birthday. And as we prepare for another year of delivering lifesaving aid around the world, we’re taking a moment to look back.
This past year has been one of the most difficult times in recent memory – but thanks to supporters like you, we responded to some of the most urgent health crises of our time:
Gaza: Delivered 35 tons of medicine and supplies since October 2023, supported medical clinics and provided mental health resources for civilians affected by the trauma of war.
Ukraine: Supplied a total of $147 million in aid since the Russian invasion in February 2022 for those most affected by the ongoing conflict.

Hurricanes Helene and Milton: Provided emergency funding and more than 17 tons of aid after back-to-back deadly storms devastated the Southeastern United States.
Los Angeles Wildfires: Worked with our local partners to provide five truckloads of clean water, 14,000 masks and $1 million in direct cash assistance for survivors.

Myanmar Earthquake: Deployed an emergency response team to coordinate with our partners on the ground to support mobile medical teams and fund clean water and sanitation projects.
Central Texas Floods: Worked with our partner clinics to address the most urgent health needs – including mental health support for survivors.
