At Vote Mama, we pride ourselves on not only supporting moms who champion our pro-choice and family-friendly Democratic values, but also in employing a team of passionate people who truly believe in the work we’re doing to increase the political power of moms.

When we say that we’re a people-powered organization, we mean it. Recently, we held a staff retreat to collaborate on creative ideas for uplifting our mamas and advocating for family-friendly policies that’ll help all American families thrive. Here we are in Washington, D.C. together!

As our movement continues to grow, our small but mighty team is getting bigger too — we’re thrilled to welcome Jordan Wong as our new Senior Communications Director! We’ll let Jordan personally introduce himself here:

“I’m so thrilled to be joining the team at Vote Mama. Before this, I worked for Rep. Katie Porter for over 6 years, so it’s exciting to continue supporting barrier-breaking women in this new role. During my time in the House and on campaigns, I saw firsthand how so much about our political system is broken—and how tough mamas who are willing to question the status quo and speak truth to power can really make a difference. From electing more working moms to changing narratives about who runs, serves, and leads, I’m eager to get to work!”
