She told Rachel Maddow on MSNBC last night: 

“I’m a New Yorker. I’m from Buffalo. Fighting is second nature to us. I’m not afraid of this. That’s why I said bring it on because bullies in Texas are not going to intimidate us now or ever.”

This issue goes beyond Texas’s state borders. If Texas Republicans are successful in rigging their redistricting process, it would bolster the ongoing attacks against New Yorkers and millions of other Americans by President Trump and his allies in Congress.
