Yesterday, I stood alongside members of the Texas House and Congressional delegations to make one thing clear:
Texas Democrats broke quorum because we refuse to be pawns in a rigged game. |

This special session was supposed to be about saving lives after a disaster. Instead, Greg Abbott and Donald Trump hijacked it to redraw maps and manufacture five more congressional seats.
I didn’t run for office to walk out of the Capitol — but I also didn’t run to sit back while our democracy is stolen in broad daylight.
This isn’t political theater. It’s survival. And we need your help to stay in the fight.
They’ve got gerrymandered maps. We’ve got grassroots donors. Pitch in to our Rapid Response Fund and help us out-organize the power grab. |
