In a victory for the rule of law and for the City of Los Angeles, the 9th Circuit ruled to uphold the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) to stop the Trump Administration’s unconstitutional and reckless raids.

After we took the Trump Administration to court and won, the TRO has been protecting our communities from immigration agents using racial profiling and other illegal tactics while conducting their cruel enforcement raids.

For now, the Temporary Restraining Order will remain in place.

The Trump administration thought it could divide us. They were wrong.

Instead, Los Angeles is sending a message to cities all across the country: When we stand together united and strong, justice will prevail.

We can’t back down in our fight for justice now. Angelenos must stand together against the Trump administration’s efforts to break up families and sow chaos and fear in our communities.
