Hi Team,

Dense coastal forests in the far north. Alpine conifer forests in the Sierra Nevada. Southern California’s great expanses of brush in the Cleveland, San Bernardino, and Angeles national forests. These 4.4 million acres of irreplaceable old growth forests in California are all protected by the Roadless Rule.

For more than 20 years, the Roadless Rule has protected forests across the country with a simple decree: If there aren't already roads through the forest, you can't build new ones for land development. That means no logging or mining—and it keeps California's undisturbed forests protected for the public to hike, fish, and camp.

Now, the Trump administration is trying to open these forests up for mining and logging as a giveaway to Trump's corporate polluter friends. Will you fill out our click-to-email form to protect our forests from destructive development, pollution, wildfires, and loss of wildlife?

TAKE ACTION: [link removed]

Without the Roadless Rule, our forests face dangers like:

Water Pollution: Logging on these lands could endanger clean drinking water for millions of people.
Wildfires: Forests with roads nearby are four times more likely to have wildfires—and 60% of California fires are on federal land.
Loss of Wildlife: New roads will carve through and permanently destroy vital habitats for threatened and endangered species.

Trump is putting our health, safety, and environment at risk with this reckless policy designed to help his friends in the logging industry. Will you support our work by telling your representatives to protect the Roadless Rule and our precious forests?

We're counting on you. Thanks so much,

Felix Wang
