Last Thursday we received the news that we were waiting for: The Supreme Court decided to side with immigrants and DACA is #HereToStay, for now. The Court has ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to revert the program to its original state as it was issued in 2012.

However, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and DHS have not yet made a statement regarding how they will implement the Supreme Court’s order.

We cannot know for sure whether DHS will accept new applications until they release guidance. We have only heard this from Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf: “The DACA program was created out of thin air and implemented illegally…”

This is why it is urgent that we pressure them to do the right thing and do as SCOTUS says!

You can pressure them by sending an email directly to Chad Wolf! This is not about his personal opinion of DACA, this is about what SCOTUS has mandated.
