The Trump administration is escalating efforts to suppress dissent, target journalists, and quietly expand mass surveillance — and it’s happening behind closed doors.

That’s why Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF) has filed over 100 FOIA requests in just six months — forcing the government to reveal what it doesn’t want the public to know.

Here are three of our most urgent demands for truth:
* Prosecuting CNN? We’re seeking emails between the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice after DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said they were working together to prosecute CNN journalists for covering an app that tracks Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
* Secret access to 79 million Americans’ health data: We’re demanding details of a hidden agreement granting ICE access to the personal data of Medicaid recipients — a chilling overreach and abuse of government secrecy.
* Spying on students: We’re investigating a clandestine ICE “Tiger Team” reportedly assembled to monitor and investigate green-card holding student journalists and activists for deportation.
