Hi folks! It’s Senator Ruben Gallego, and in case you haven’t heard, I’m coming to Iowa THIS week!

On Saturday, I’m teaming up with the Iowa Democratic Party to host a town hall in Davenport. Together, we can talk about how Republicans in Congress slashed your health care and hiked your costs to bankroll billionaires, and why it’s necessary we vote them out of office.

I come from a family that worked every day to make ends meet, and I know many Iowans can relate. There are too many working families in Iowa who have been abandoned by their leaders, and it’s time to reverse course.

As the only organization statewide working to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, the Iowa Democratic Party is taking tremendous strides to give power back into the hands of everyday Iowans, rather than the wealthy donors funding GOP campaigns.

Not to mention with competitive races for Governor, Senate, and the House, Iowa is shaping up to be one of the most important battleground states for Democrats nationwide. All eyes are on Iowa, and if we work hard enough now, we’ll be able to take back Democratic control.

I’m thrilled to head to Iowa this week, but in order to make sure our town halls run smoothly and ensure IDP is equipped for the fight ahead, they could use your support. That’s why I’m personally asking: Will you chip in $25 today to help IDP communicate with voters and win important battleground races up and down the ballot?
