Dear John,
When you’re living with heart disease, connection can be life-changing. That’s why WomenHeart offers a range of free programs designed to support and empower women with heart conditions, no matter where they are in their journey.
Our Support Network includes:
- Local Support Groups, led by trained volunteers who have been there themselves
- SisterMatch, a 1:1 peer connection program
- HeartScarves, a program that gifts handmade red scarves to women living with heart disease as a reminder that you are not alone
- HeartSisters Online, a virtual support group where you can connect with other women with heart disease for ongoing peer support
- Educational events that bring women together to learn, share, and grow
Many of these programs are powered by WomenHeart Champions, women with heart disease who are trained to educate and support others. From hosting monthly meetings to offering a listening ear, they help create compassionate, heart-healthy communities across the country.
If you’re looking for connection, now is the time. Applications for our upcoming Science & Leadership Symposium, the training ground for our Champions, are open through August 11. This is your chance to become a lifeline for other women living with heart disease, ensuring no one has to face this journey alone. Join a community of support, strength, and shared purpose.
