My toughest fight yet
Hi There - I’m Tracy Hunt.
Stand Up said I could reach to introduce myself and personally give you the news: I’m running for Congress in PA-01 to flip Bucks County blue and give working Americans a voice in their government.
Before I tell you a bit about me, I have to ask: would you split a donation between Stand Up and my team on the very first day of our campaign so we can prove that we have what it takes to win?
Today I am a husband, father, and hard-working attorney who happily built a life in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. But before that, I was just another Army Brat who grew up at Fort Bragg believing in America and all of its possibilities.
In those days, achieving the American dream meant following the rules: go to school, get a good-paying job, buy a house, start a family.
But for my two daughters who recently graduated college and so many young people like them, that dream just isn’t the reality anymore.
Wages are flat. Rents and home prices have sky-rocketed. And the people we elected to represent us are too busy giving handouts to billionaires to solve the real-world problems we face every day.
When did it get like this?
Today, I am officially launching my campaign to flip Pennsylvania’s First District (currently held by Brian Fitzpatrick) because the future of our children and our community depends on ordinary people stepping up to meet these extraordinary times.

Growing up, I used to think politics didn’t matter so much. Whether you were a Republican or Democrat, everyone believed in American leadership, defending our democracy, and protecting our rights and freedoms.
But that was forty years ago.
Since then, Republicans have gone off the rails. Donald Trump’s party has ushered in a new era of corruption and extremism where moderate ideas, compromise, and even human decency have been completely abandoned. Under MAGA control, our children are less safe, have less opportunities, and less faith in our democracy.
And career politicians and party loyalists like Brian Fitzpatrick have let it happen!
That's why I am a proud, newly minted Democrat. I’ve found a home in the party of Obama, Clinton, and Kennedy because the tent is big enough for folks who believe in moderate leadership, a booming economy, and laws that keep us safe.
So here I am, a convert. An ordinary person stepping up to run.
