As a local business owner, I’ve seen firsthand what Trump’s tariffs are doing to our economy. The manufacturers that we’ve used for raw materials have stopped importing completely. I’m watching costs skyrocket day by day.
These tariffs aren’t helping us — they are taxes on American families and businesses.
And small businesses aren't the only thing being impacted: the cost of housing, cars, groceries, and clothing are all increasing because of these tariffs. Families across Miami are looking at the numbers and feeling pain and worry.

We should be able to turn to our elected officials for relief. But Republican Maria Salazar refuses to meet with her constituents. (And people have tried, but her office says she doesn’t meet face-to-face with the people she is elected to represent!) And when it come to tariffs, she says nothing and does nothing.
We need to kick her out and flip the House — our economic future depends on it. I’m running for Congress to be our community's voice. That’s why I hosted a roundtable with other local business owners and community leaders to hear their concerns and needs!
