A little about me:
It would be an understatement to say that Utah shaped me. Its red rock cliffs, alpine meadows, and desert silence imbued a deep sense of reverence and wonder. As a kid, I didn’t have the language for “environmental identity,” but I knew that being in the natural world made me feel more like myself. The land taught me to pay attention, to respect scale and time, and to take seriously the relationship between human and ecological health.
After more than a decade working in social impact and climate resilience, I’ve learned that staying in this work for the long haul requires stamina, community, and a deep sense of place. The emotional whiplash from political, environmental, and human health policy defeats is real. And if we want to stay in it long enough to make a difference, we have to root ourselves in efforts that actually nourish us and our communities.
That’s why I’m here.
This kind of place-based, practical work is where I believe the tide can turn through grounded, inclusive action and building civic power at the state and community level. In a world that often feels unmoored and overwhelming, I’m drawn to the kind of stories that reconnect us to what’s real, to each other, and to a shared sense of purpose. I’m honored to join a team that’s doing just that.
