[link removed] [[link removed]]At a time when climate change is accelerating the pace of wildfire damage each year, Donald Trump’s reckless, draconian cuts to the U.S. Forest Service are only putting more homes, more businesses, and even our very lives at risk.
Wildfires burned almost 2 MILLION acres of Oregon land in 2024 alone — we can’t afford to let Trump play games with the agency tasked with protecting Americans from these deadly blazes.
That’s why Andrea Salinas is proud to have led her colleagues in the House in calling out Trump’s dangerous cuts to the federal forest service, and demanding that critical funding and staff be reinstated to protect Oregon’s people and infrastructure from wildfire damage.
