Dear John,
When Alaska Airlines used its employee-only website to encourage its staff to share their diverse perspectives and ask questions about the company’s support of the Equality Act, Lacey Smith and Marli Brown submitted faith-based questions.
Alaska Airlines responded by investigating, questioning and firing Lacey and Marli for adding their religious perspective to the online conversation.
And when we filed a lawsuit on their behalf, a federal judge ruled in favor of Alaska Airlines without ever allowing the case to be heard by a jury.
We can’t allow this ruling to stand.
That’s why we are asking the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to reverse the lower court’s ruling.
Specifically, we are fighting for Lacey and Marli’s right to have their day in court and have the merits of their case argued before a jury of their peers.
Watch this message to get the latest on the Alaska Airlines case along with everything else that’s going on this month at First Liberty:

On August 22, we are arguing on behalf of Lacey and Marli at the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
And we need your help if we are to win this case.
First, will you pray for our attorneys as they prepare, for strength and peace for Lacey and Marli, for the judges that will hear the case and for God’s favor throughout?
Second, will you financially support First Liberty with a gift today?
Alaska Airlines is a multi-billion dollar corporation that will stop at nothing to advance its woke agenda and silence employees like Lacey and Marli who want to live and work according to their beliefs.
Your gift today will make the difference in this fight. You are giving our legal team the firm foundation they need to make this critical stand for faith.
Join us in stopping religious discrimination in the workplace and help us make sure that Lacey and Marli’s case gets heard.
Yes, I’ll make a gift today >>
Grateful for you,
Kelly
