This week, we're celebrating FOUR more Winning For Women endorsed candidates who won their primary elections!
THE YEAR OF THE GOP WOMAN
Our New York winners helped make history for the GOP. Despite primary elections historically being the biggest impediment for GOP women, 55 candidates have now secured their nomination - beating the previous record set in 2004! And with more than 20 primaries left to go, these numbers will only go up.

Politico: Dems sink GOP police bill, leaving Senate deadlocked as country reckons with racism. The House is expected to pass sweeping Democratic legislation on Thursday.
The New York Times: With Wilson Confirmation, Trump and Senate Republicans Achieve a Milestone. The confirmation of the Mississippian, over Democratic opposition, fills the final appeals court vacancy and makes him the 200th judge installed by President Trump.
The Hill: Texas pauses reopenings amid COVID-19 spike. Texas will pause its efforts to reopen the economy as the number of confirmed coronavirus infections spikes and hospitals begin to fill.
WSJ: Many Minnesota Police Officers Remain on the Force Despite Misconduct. Employment and arbitration practices nationwide are now under scrutiny after the killing of George Floyd.
Roll Call: Women say it’s time to reopen America — safely. A majority of female voters are no longer hesitant about reopening the economy.
CNN: Supreme Court rules asylum seeker cannot challenge removal. The ruling will keep courthouse doors closed to asylum seekers in expedited removal processes who say they cannot return home because they have a credible fear of torture or even death.

A New Record: 54 Republican women have secured nominations in House races this year, beating a record set in 2004.
