Today, we are proud to announce the launch of Reclamo AI (Beta) ([link removed]) - a multilingual, mobile-first digital assistant that helps workers understand their wage rights, identify wage theft, and connect with a trusted aContinue ([link removed]) dvocate in New York State.

Reclamo AI (Beta) was developed by Justicia Lab ([link removed]) , a program of Pro Bono Net ([link removed]) , in partnership with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) ([link removed]) . This project was made possible with funding and technical support from GitLab’s AI for Economic Opportunity Fund ([link removed]) and the J.M. Kaplan Innovation Prize ([link removed]) .

With Reclamo AI (Beta), answering questions about your rights as a worker in New York is as easy as typing or sending a voice message.

* Who this is for ✅: Workers in New York State who believe they’ve been underpaid, exploited, or had wages stolen.
* What this doesn't do ❌: It won't give you legal advice - if you need legal help, it’s best to talk to a lawyer.
* Privacy Information 🔒: Data is deleted from our system every 48 hours. We use an enterprise AI platform, which means data is secure and not used for AI retraining.
