The federal Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process, created under the No Surprises Act, intends to assist providers and insurers in determining fair payment rates for out of network services no longer able to be balance-billed to patients.
Implementation of the IDR process, however, has been beset with considerable controversies.
On August 26 from 1-2:30pm ET, a moderated discussion among key stakeholders will discuss how to improve the IDR process and include lessons learned from states. A Q&A session with the audience will follow the presentation.
