John, Due to safety concerns surrounding COVID-19, an overwhelming majority of people voted by mail in this election cycle. Voter turnout in person for Early Voting and on Election Day was very low, which means we will not know who the winner is for at least a week. On July 1, the Board of Elections (BOE) will begin counting the absentee mail-in ballots. We are not sure how long the process will take, but we will keep you updated as we find out more. In the meantime, I am grateful for your continued support for this campaign. We still have a strong chance to win, and I look forward to receiving good news from the BOE soon. Our campaign will continue to be active until every last vote is counted. Will you pitch in to keep us in the game til the very end? It's not over until it's over. I thank you for standing by me as we wait for the final tally. My best, Lindsey |
