The haze in our skies isn’t just smoke, it’s a wake-up call. Once again, Minnesotans are choking on wildfire smoke. Our air quality is dangerous. Our kids, grandparents, and neighbors with asthma or heart conditions are at serious risk.

As a doctor, I’ve treated the damage smoke inhalation can cause. As a father and grandfather, I’m angry our families are asking: Is it even safe to go outside?

And as a candidate for Governor, I’m ready to act—because this crisis demands more than empty press conferences and failed priorities.

Governor Walz has no plan. He’s spent billions on pet projects, ignored the warning signs, and let fraudsters run wild with our tax dollars. Meanwhile, Minnesota still has no coordinated wildfire prevention or public health emergency strategy.

Enough is enough.

Here’s what I would do as Minnesota’s Governor:

🔥 Launch real wildfire prevention—partnering with Canadian provinces, investing in better forest management, and improving early detection systems.

🩺 Streamline medical response—empower pharmacists to dispense emergency respiratory meds and ensure hospitals can fast-track treatment during smoke events.

🛡️ Protect our most vulnerable—require long-term care facilities and families to proactively secure medications and action plans for fragile patients.

🌲 Build climate resilience—invest in reforestation, clean energy, and smarter emission controls.

Minnesota deserves bold, competent leadership. Let’s clear the air—and the Governor’s Office.
