** 🎨 Creating for a Cause: 9-Year-Old Juliette Leong’s Artful Impact
------------------------------------------------------------
This summer, 9-year-old Juliette Leong ([link removed]) wowed the community with her first solo art exhibit—but she didn’t stop at showcasing her talent. Juliette turned her moment in the spotlight into a mission, donating proceeds from the show to the causes closest to her heart, including Art in Action.

Juliette’s passion for giving back started early. At just 4 years old, she made her first donation to support art education—using prize money she earned from a children’s art contest for Humpty Dumpty Magazine ([link removed]) . Now, five years later, she's still using her art to amplify a powerful message: every child deserves the chance to create. Juliette is proof that young artists aren’t just making art—they’re making change.

** 🎨 Meet Our Summer Interns:
The Next Generation of Creative Changemakers
------------------------------------------------------------
This summer, we're thrilled to welcome three incredible college interns who are bringing fresh ideas, energy, and innovation to Art in Action’s mission. Thanks to their work, we’re building a stronger connection with our community—and finding new ways to expand access to arts education for students everywhere.
Archer, a sophomore at Northwestern University, is diving into our educator website, helping us redesign and reorganize the content based on educator feedback. Their goal? Make it easier than ever for teachers to find what they need and bring art into the classroom with confidence.
Brian, a recent graduate of San Jose State University, is analyzing website traffic and user engagement to help us better understand what inspires visitors to learn more, get involved, and support our programs.

Kate, a junior at Emory University, is crafting compelling digital content that shares our mission across social media platforms—encouraging more people to donate and help us bring art education to even more school-age children.
Their contributions are helping us grow smarter, speak louder, and reach further. Join us in celebrating the next generation of leaders in arts advocacy!
