Texas Governor Greg Abbott is exploiting a natural disaster to help Donald Trump rig the next election, and he's threatening to arrest any Democrat who stands in his way.
After catastrophic floods swept through parts of Texas last month, killing over 100 people -- floods that happened on Abbott's watch due to years of neglect and failure to invest in infrastructure -- Abbott didn't step up to take responsibility.
Instead, he launched $750,000 in attack ads. Not to help flood victims, but to lie to voters about his scheme with Donald Trump to steal 5 Democratic-held Congressional seats.
And Abbott is not stopping there. He's also threatening to have these lawmakers arrested, removed from office, and replaced with Republican puppets who will ram through Trump's rigged map and start a gerrymandering arms race in states across the country.
