One month ago, President Trump signed his Big Beautiful Bill into law — a harmful budget bill that guts health care, slashes food assistance, and adds trillions to our national debt to pay for tax breaks for billionaires.

We’re going to see devastating fallout from this bill, and we need to hold MAGA Republicans accountable. Remember, this is what their budget does:

* Cuts more than $1 trillion from health care, including the largest-ever reduction for Medicaid
* Slashes $500 billion from Medicare, putting care for seniors at risk
* Kicks 17 million people off their health insurance and drives up costs for millions more
* Cuts food assistance (SNAP) by 20%, putting millions of children and families at risk of hunger
* Guts clean energy programs, threatening over a million jobs
* Adds $4 trillion to the national debt — just to give more tax breaks to the wealthiest 1%

It’s going to explode the federal budget deficit and result in more uninsured Americans and the closure of hospitals, especially in rural and underserved areas in Middle and Southwest Georgia.

With MAGA Republicans in control and their power unchecked, these are the kinds of policy decisions that we’re going to continue seeing.
