I’ll get straight to the point: This is a time of tremendous crisis for our nation and the world.

Donald Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak has been cruel, reckless, and incompetent. He tear-gassed peaceful protesters to clear the way for a photo-op. He willfully ignored structural racism while fanning the flames of hate and sowing division.

Trump has shown us that he cares about one thing only: himself. In November, we have the chance to hold this morally bankrupt and relentlessly corrupt administration accountable.

But beating Donald Trump this November won’t be enough. To make big, structural change, we need to take back the Senate, and that means electing a Democrat from Maine. That’s why I am asking you to join me in supporting the Maine Democratic Party.

Well, Trump hasn’t done much of anything right, and the only lesson he has learned is that the Republicans will let him do anything he wants.
