Something big happened in the Senate last week.
For the first time in American history, a strong majority of Democratic Senators voted to block military aid to Israel.
Friend, this didn’t happen because politicians suddenly changed their minds. This happened because they are feeling the pressure of the tireless advocacy of this movement and everyone who has shown support for ending the genocide in Gaza.
In fact, a jaw-dropping new Gallup poll shows that just 8% of Democratic voters and only 25% of independents approve of Israel’s actions in Gaza.
Only a small minority — 32% of all Americans — still back Israel’s military actions. And there are more signs all around that the tide is turning.
Israel has been forced to begin surging humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Whistleblowers are speaking out in the national media about the brutality of the IDF.
European countries have announced their intentions to recognize a Palestinian state against the wishes of Netanyahu.
Now, it is our job to continue to keep this momentum pushing forward until we end all US involvement in this genocide, reach a permanent ceasefire, end the Israeli occupation, and ensure self-determination for the Palestinian people.
