With the Prime Minister poised to deliver a speech about our economic recovery in the coming weeks, we wanted to share with you actions you can take to demand, understand and support our work to deliver a #GreenRecovery. We know that better IS possible and together we can make better happen.

2 JULY, 2020, Jenny Jones is hosting a first of its kind for the Green Party digital fundraising event. The event will feature readings from naturalist authors Stephen Moss and Paul Wood and a performance by the Cambridge String Quartet and a conversation about how our environmental, economic and equality solutions are indivisible. Your ticket supports our work to demand a Green Recovery.

Soon, Caroline Lucas and Labour MP Clive Lewis, will reintroduce the Green New Deal Bill in Parliament. Support their efforts by signing the petition on the parliamentary website NOW demanding the UK Government rebuild the economy out of lockdown with a Green New Deal.

30 JUNE, 2020 The Climate Coalition is hosting the first ever virtual lobby for nature and people. Have a virtual cup of tea with your MP and tell them that #TheTimeIsNow to put a healthy, greener, fairer future at the heart of plans to rebuild from the Coronavirus crisis.

A #GreenRecovery is designed to address the truth that progress in environmental, economic and equality issues are indivisible, and that devolving power, resources and responsibility to communities requires collaboration from the top down and bottom up. The events will be held 8 + 15 + 22 July at 6PM
