CHEYENNE - The Wyoming State Board of Education (SBE) will meet virtually at 9 a.m. on August 6. The SBE will recognize recipients of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). The board will also work to finalize its priorities and plan committee work for the 2025-26 school year.
The PAEMST program authorizes the President to present 108 individual awards each year. The award represents the highest national recognition a K-12 mathematics or science teacher can receive for his/her contribution to excellence in teaching and learning.
All SBE meetings are open to the public. Attendees may join the meeting virtually by registering in advance. After registration, participants will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting.
Materials for board meetings are available on BoardDocs. For more information, visit the board’s website. Follow the SBE on Facebook and Twitter.
