From his time as Chair of the Orange County Watch, a bipartisan watchdog group that reports on government transparency, to his early advocacy for fair settlements of life insurance policies for AIDS patients in the 1980s—Doug left his mark as a principled watchdog, fearless mentor, and bipartisan community leader.
His life's work depended heavily on our data and research, underscoring his firm belief in supporting our essential mission.
