On Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released a rough jobs report.

He fired the woman in charge of reporting the numbers — BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer — and then accused her of rigging the data to help Kamala Harris.

Firing the top official in charge of jobs data — just because the numbers made Trump look bad — undermines trust in government and threatens our entire economy.

Markets run on data. Investors depend on independent agencies like the BLS to make decisions.
