Yet another Republican has jumped into the Georgia Senate race. Check it out:
Failed and fired former University of Tennessee football coach Derek Dooley is running to try and unseat Jon, despite having no public service experience and regularly failing to vote...
Yikes.
Dooley’s announcement has reinforced what we already know about this race: Jon is the GOP’s #1 target in 2026 and Republicans are lining up to challenge him.
This will be the most competitive and expensive Senate race in the country. Far-right groups are already flooding the airwaves with ads to misrepresent Jon’s record and they show no signs of stopping.
That means we need to start building the resources to fight back against GOP attacks — whether they’re coming from Dooley or our other MAGA opponents. But, we can’t do that without grassroots donors like you stepping up and pitching in what you can, when you can.
