Over the weekend, Texas Republicans advanced legislation to redraw their congressional districts and hand Trump another five House seats.
Let’s call it what it is: a desperate attempt to give Republicans an advantage in the fight for control of the House in the midterms.
Trump’s agenda is ineffective and deeply unpopular, and yet Republicans would rather cook the books than stand up to the president. It’s a new low – and frankly a pretty disturbing attack on our democracy.
But here’s the reality: Texas is not the only state where control of the House is on the line. Next year, Democrats could flip as many as FIVE congressional seats right here in Virginia.
That’s why we’re not just building the infrastructure to win this Senate race – we’re also making a run at all five Republican-held congressional districts in Virginia to flip control of the House.
