Your gift to our Action in August 2X Match can help find answers.
Dear Friend,
Right now, 1 in 3 older adults dies with Alzheimer's disease or another dementia. Many will miss out on the moments that make life so special — weddings, holidays and birthdays. Many won't get to experience the joy of holding their grandchildren. We need to end Alzheimer's.
I'd like to thank you for your interest in the fight to end Alzheimer's. Kind-hearted people like you can help provide care and support that so many families rely on day after day and drive promising new research forward to a more hopeful future. But there's still so much work to do. I'm reaching out again today because our Action in August 2X Match is just getting started, and we need your help to make the most of it.
The stakes couldn't be higher. Alzheimer's is an escalating global public health crisis, and millions of Americans are losing their loved ones to this heartbreaking illness. This thief of a disease not only robs individuals of memory and cognitive function — it also rips away family connections, depletes caregivers' resources and steals years from people's lives.
Friend, the strong interest you've shown in this fight tells me you want to make a difference, and this match challenge is an incredible example of how YOU can fuel our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Thank you in advance,
Katie Evans
Chief Programs and Mission Engagement Officer
