It calls on governments and Big Tech to align their content moderation with UN definitions of “hate speech” and “disinformation.”</p> <p>That’s right. <strong>The UN wants to be the global speech police.</strong></p> <p><em>And they’re succeeding.</em></p> <p>From Australia to Canada, the UK to France, Sweden, Chile, Brazil, and even Kenya, governments are introducing nearly identical laws to criminalise “misinformation” and throttle free speech online.</p> <p>Not because the people demanded it. Not because voters cried out for it.</p> <p><strong>But because the UN told them to.</strong></p> <p>The same pattern is playing out with Digital ID laws. In disparate countries right around the world, politicians are talking about Digital ID, and everyday citizens are left scratching their heads, wondering, "Where did that idea come from?" Certainly not from the voters. </p> <p>In Australia, there was no mass outcry for digital identification. But our government pushed it anyway. Why? Because the UN’s Department of Economic and Social Affairs has been lobbying governments around the world to adopt “e-government” systems, and Digital ID is central to their plan.</p> <p>And it doesn’t stop there.</p> <ul> <li>UNICEF and the WHO plug radical gender ideology and “gender-affirming care” (that is, chemical and surgical mutilation) for minors.</li> <li>UN agencies push Comprehensive Sexuality Education—teaching abortion, sexual consent, and gender theory—often over parents’ objections.</li> <li>They decree that religious freedom must yield to LGBTQI+ demands, sidelining and silencing Christian teaching and practice.</li> <li>They insist on erasing parental consent for minors seeking abortions.</li> <li>They demand that every nation remove all limits on abortion—even for adolescents, with zero parental involvement.</li> </ul> <p>When Donald Trump saw what the World Health Organization had become, <strong>he is cutting funding and pulling the United States out.</strong> One decisive move and the machine came to a grinding halt. Then he did the same to the radical leftists at UNESCO.</p> <p>But he can go even further. </p> <p>In fact, Trump has already signalled he might because, in February, he signed an executive order titled <em>“Withdrawing the United States from and Ending Funding to Certain United Nations Organizations and Reviewing United States Support to All International Organizations.”</em></p> <p>The order ends US participation in the UN Human Rights Council, blocks funding for UNRWA, launched a review of UNESCO, and initiated a six-month audit of every treaty and body the United States supports. That action proves Trump is willing to wield the budget axe against the UN when the public demands it.</p> <p>Trump can defund the UN but only as long as he is in office. <em>The Senate must also feel the pressure and popular support for such a bold move.</em></p>
