 SuperWalk is coming to a community near you on Sept. 6 and 7. There is still time to register and to raise funds to support people across Canada affected by Parkinson’s.  But don’t delay, SuperWalk is only a month away! Come out to your local walk and experience an unforgettable connection as we walk together in support of our community.

Coming to a cinema near you
On August 8, the feature-length film Shook will premiere in cinemas across Canada. Set in Toronto, the film features a struggling writer whose father is diagnosed with Parkinson’s, and shows how it affects both of their lives. The film is an important reminder of how storytelling has the power to help raise awareness about Parkinson’s.

Community highlight

Professor Denis Soulet’s research into the neuroprotective properties of Zuranolone is offering hope for its potential to slow or change the course of Parkinson’s. This funding was made possible due to the generous contributions provided by the Della Vedova family. Charitable contributions such as theirs make a real difference in research.
