John-- On Tuesday, APWU members, our fellow postal workers and community allies took action across the country to send a loud and clear message to members of the Senate: Save the Post Office! Dozens of coordinated events took place across the country and approximately 200,000 people participated on a livestream that celebrated the delivery to senators of more than 2 million petition signatures for the public Postal Service. These actions helped us spread the word and strengthen the public’s resolve to protect our Post Office. This is a key moment. We will have to continue to put pressure on our elected official this summer if we are going to secure vital funding to save the Postal Service.
