There's a lot going on, John, but I've got three quick things I need you to know about this critical race:

* The Cook Political Report currently ranks this as one of the most competitive House races this cycle.
* We were outraised by my GOP opponent two of the last three quarters – and we can’t let that happen again.
* If we don't close our $2,987 fundraising gap by midnight tonight, our campaign is going to fall way off track.

I'll be honest with you: Our GOP opponent is within striking distance, and I'm afraid we could lose our Democratic House majority if we can't keep this seat blue, so losing simply isn't an option. But we won't have the resources we need to win in November without your urgent support, John: So please, can you give $5 or more to defend this seat in Congress and protect our Democratic House majority?
