On Wednesday, special interests leaked a letter I wrote to President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, urging the United States to officially recognize a Palestinian state, in an attempt to sabotage our movement. Their goal was to discourage other members from singing on to the letter.

But they can’t sabotage an idea whose time has come.

France, the UK, Australia, and Canada are planning to join 147 other countries in recognizing a Palestinian state.

The US must not be a pariah.

It’s time for the international community to work together to bring an end to the ongoing tragedy in Gaza and pursue a just and lasting resolution to the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
