Hey friend,

Last month, House Republicans rammed through what Donald Trump is proudly calling the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” Let's be honest: it's one big toxic mess.

The truth? This bill is nothing but a greedy handout to billionaires and a slap in the face to the rest of us. While Trump and his MAGA inner circle pop champagne, working families get stuck with higher prices, fewer services, and an even more rigged system.

How This Bill Hurts America:

* You pay at the register: Tariffs work like a tax that gets passed straight to consumers. Need groceries, home repairs, or new clothes? You’re paying more now.
* Inflation is surging: Data just out shows inflation picking up steam, with the rising costs directly fueled by these new Trump tariffs.
* American jobs at risk: European officials warn that these tariffs could effectively shut down transatlantic trade, threatening millions of jobs on both sides. Experts say supply chains and small businesses are on the chopping block.
* No real plan—just pain: Instead of a strategy to help American workers, Trump is sticking families and businesses with the bill, all while destabilizing the economy.

Trump calls that “beautiful.” I call it exactly what it is: reckless, cruel, and dangerously out of touch.

I fought this bill at every single step—because someone has to stand up for families while Trump plays pretend populist. But now that it’s law, the fight shifts: we need to stay loud, expose every piece of the fallout, and protect those getting steamrolled.

Here’s the deal: iVote Fund and I can’t do that on my own. If you’re as angry about this as we are and ready to hold these guys accountable, chip in now to help us keep the pressure on: [[link removed]]

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.

Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.

Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.

We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
