Friend, before I ever ran for office, my family made it into the middle class through good union jobs. I worked for the labor movement and was a union member – for me, solidarity is a human value. 

At the AFL-CIO, I helped make unions the most popular they've been in a generation. I wrote for labor legends like Richard Trumka and Liz Shuler – the first woman to lead the labor movement. 

In Colorado 4 I've stood with grocery workers, meat packers, teachers, flight attendants and caregivers for safety, fair pay and dignity. And I've fought for 20,000 good-paying clean energy jobs right here in Colorado.

I've been proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the folks building Colorado's future – union strong and Colorado proud. But Lauren Boebert? She's siding with billionaires over working people. With lobbyists over safety. With corporations pushing tech with no guardrails, like driverless trucks, over Teamsters demanding human oversight. 

We need real representation in Congress to fight to keep and grow America's middle class – and that's why I'm running. But this is a true grassroots campaign, and I need you with me to flip this seat and bring real labor representation to Congress.
