All the California Governor candidates’ fundraising reports have now been made public.
We’re going to break down the key takeaways for you, but first, will you chip in $5 to help us maintain our fundraising momentum?
- Katie raised more money than any other candidate in the race, other than a billionaire self-funder, in the first half of this year. Voters believe in her vision for California; that’s why she’s the clear frontrunner among Democrats in this race.
- The two leading Republicans raised a combined $2.5 million. Far-right extremists have their eyes on California, and they’re putting money behind GOP candidates, including a County Sheriff and a former Fox News host.
- Some of our opponents have millions in the bank, just because they’ve been running for years(!) longer. Katie has momentum, even though she only launched her campaign in the spring. But we have to make up ground before the critical communication window begins next year.
Here’s the TL;DR: if we keep doing what we’re doing, we’re going to elect Katie as the next governor of California. But we’ve got to keep our foot on the gas until every last ballot is cast and counted and Katie is sworn in.
We can’t do this without your support. Will you please chip in $5 today?
